It is not possible to add a worker to your f2pool account. You must set your worker on the configuration of a specific miner or mining tool. When you begin mining, the pool will automatically display the worker as what you have configured in your miner settings.
A worker name, which is the serial number of a miner, can be a combination of digits and letters, but cannot contain any special characters like “.” (dot) and “_” (underline).
Logged-in mining
Logged-in mining supports BTC, BCH, LTC, ETHW, ETC, ZEC, ZEN, CKB, CFX, HNS, KDA, RVN, DASH, ALEO, IRON, KAS, ZEC-Equihash profit-switching pool, and more. You are required to configure each mining account name to a miner or a mining tool in order to mine. Once the pool receives the miner’s information, the miner will be displayed automatically on the “Workers” page of that mining coin. Log into your f2pool account to learn more.
For logged-in mining, the name setup should be: accountname.workername
The account name and the worker name must be separated by a “.” between them.
Anonymous mining
In anonymous mining, you are required to use your wallet address and worker name to configure your miner. Once the pool receives a miner’s information, the coin type and the wallet address of the miner will be displayed.
For anonymous mining, the setup should be: walletaddress.workername
There are slight configuration differences according to different coins. Miners should read the relevant mining guides for the coins and refer to the relevant examples.
