If you find that the number of workers does not match the actual number of miners you are providing, it is likely due to a configuration discrepancy related to the worker name. It is possible that you have not set up your worker name, or you have incorrectly set the same worker name for multiple miners.
If you set the same worker name for multiple miners, the miners will be displayed as one worker, and you will see only one worker being shown when you check the “Worker” page. Using the same worker name for multiple miners will result in discrepancies in the number of workers of mining machines.
You should also make sure that the pool URL and the account name (or wallet address) that you have configured are correct, in order to eliminate the possibility of a mismatch between the connected pool and the mining account. Otherwise, you will see worker information being different from the workers you are actually running.
If it is not a configuration-related issue, please refer to the explanations in this article.
- How to set a worker name
For logged-in mining, the setup should be accountname.workername
The account and worker names must be separated by a “.” between them.
For anonymous mining, the setup should be walletaddress.workername
The wallet address and the worker name must be separated by a “.” between them.
