Once the mining machine is connected to the mining pool, the mining pool will continuously assign calculation tasks to the mining machine. If the mining pool sends a new task before receiving the share (i.e. the calculation result) of the previous task from the mining machine, this share is known as the delayed share. The percentage of this share is known as the delayed rate.
We do calculate the profits of the delayed shares for some coins, but the rejected shares will not be calculated. Please understand that the delayed rate is mainly affected by the miner’s network status. A good network connectivity will greatly reduce the occurrences of delayed shares. A reasonable estimated range of the delayed rate is about 2%.
