If you find that the numbers of workers do not match the actual numbers of miners you are contributing, it is likely because of a configuration discrepancy with the worker name. It is possible that you have not yet set up your worker name or incorrectly set the same worker name for multiple miners.
If you set the same worker name for multiple miners, the miners will show up as one worker and you will see only one worker shown when you check the “Worker” page. Using the same worker name for multiple miners will result in discrepancies for the number of workers to miners.
You should also ensure that the pool URL and account name (or wallet address) that you have configured is correct to eliminate the possibility of a mismatch between the connected pool and mining account. Otherwise, you will see different worker information from the workers you are actually running.
If it is not a configuration-related issue, please refer to the explanation in the article “Miners are running, but I can not see them or any revenue on F2Pool”.
- How to set a worker name
For Logged-in mining, the setup should be: accountname.workername
Account and worker names must be separated by a “.” between them.
For anonymous mining, the setup should be: walletaddress.workername
Wallet address and worker names must be separated by a “.” between them.
