Traditionally, when you transfer money through a bank, you need to provide the bank account number of your intended recipient. In cryptocurrencies, a wallet address is similar to a bank account number.
You can generate a wallet address through an official wallet client, or obtain one from a cryptocurrency exchange by registering an account with the exchange. For specific coins, we recommend you to refer to relevant resources included in the mining guides.
Wallet addresses are not universal; you must use different respective addresses for different coins.
Please note:
Normally, one wallet address can only support one type of coin.
Currently, f2pool only supports wallet addresses on mainnet. For example, you are required to add an address in ERC20 format to receive mining revenues. If the wallet format does not match, it will lead to a loss of funds.
