Zephyr, an over-collateralized stablecoin protocol, is designed with a focus on privacy and security. Its base currency, ZEPH, uses the RandomX mining algorithm, which can be efficiently mined with CPUs.
In this mining guide, we will walk you through the settings and process of mining Zephyr Protocol (ZEPH) at f2pool.
1. Obtain suitable hardware
✅ ZEPH can be efficiently mined with CPUs.
❌ ZEPH cannot be efficiently mined with ASICs.
❌ ZEPH cannot be efficiently mined with GPUs.
View our Miners page to discover the most profitable machines for ZEPH mining.
2. Sign up for an f2pool account
You will need to create an f2pool account before mining Zephyr (ZEPH). If you do not have one yet, please click here to register.
Setting an account name will be required for configuration. You are free to create multiple subaccounts to monitor your mining machines.
3. Obtain and add payout address
You will need to get a wallet address if you do not have one already. A ZEPH wallet address is required for you to receive your mining rewards.
You will need to get a payout address to collect your mining rewards. You can add or change your payout address in your Payout Settings.
f2pool distributes mining rewards on a daily basis to every user who reaches the payout threshold, which is 0.1 ZEPH. f2pool’s payout scheme is 1% PPLNS.
4. Configure mining software
XMRig is a popular option for mining ZEPH with CPUs.
After you have downloaded the mining software, uncompress it, find the start.bat or start.cmd file, right-click on it, and click Edit.
Replace the file’s existing command with the command below:
xmrig.exe --donate-level 1 -o zeph-asia.f2pool.com:6100 -u account_name.worker_name -p x -a rx/0 -k
In the above command, replace account_name with your f2pool mining account name set in Step 2.
worker_name is optional, but we recommend labeling each of your mining devices with a separate worker_name for more efficient monitoring.
Finally, save the start file and exit. Double-click the start file when you’re ready to start mining.
If necessary, refer to the table below to customize your settings based on your devices:
